TSD MAG15 M4 Magazine
The TSD-MAG15 is a hybrid magazine that combines the best features of polymer and steel magazine designs. Unique to the TSD-MAG15 is the one piece wrap-around hardened steel feed lip assembly that is permanently attached to an impact resistant polymer body. Unlike many polymer-only feed lips, the hardened steel feed lips won’t bend, break or deform due to rough handling or long term storage. An aggressive surface texture has been applied to the polymer body to improve gripping and retrieval from pouches. The aggressive grip texture between the reinforcing ribs, allowing for more positive control on the magazines when manipulating them. The combination of steel and polymer result in a lightweight, robust magazine tough enough for professional use.
One of our friends in SOCOM torture tested the TSD MAG15 for us, read all about it.

Terrorist Interdiction Bag
The TIB is the answer for the man that needs to carry a full high intensity-short duration fighting kit 24/7/365, but in a very compact and ultra-discreet manner. The bag can be dedicated as a pistol only bag, set up for the TSD Glock and the popular “Happy Sticks”, or it can accommodate three Assault Rifle Magazines (AK-47 in any caliber, or M4). The side zip pockets can carry additional magazine, or weapon accessories and trauma kits. The bag is constructed in a manner to contain and conceal the contents whether the zipper is open or closed. This kit is perfect for daily carry by the undercover operative, private citizen working in a danger-high area, or as a discreet “Desk Bag” for executives that may be facing the threat of an active shooter or terrorist threat.

Slings
If your sling comes with an instructional DVD to show you how to use it, it’s probably too complicated. Here at TSD Combat Systems we make simple, effective two-point slings. All of our slings feature a generous length, allowing you to transition to pistol by slinging the rifle diagonally across the back, as we teach at Suarez International rifle classes.
Israeli Sling
The Israeli Sling is a simple two-point setup. It features a Blue Force Gear Universal Wire Loop on the front and a simple buckle arrangement at the rear. It is an ideal sling for Kalashnikov rifles.

TSD MAG-15 M4 Magazine Torture Test By US Mil Personnel

As soon as the first TSD MAG-15s came in we shipped them out to our friends in the US Military community for testing. Here is a write up that was sent to us, and posted at warriortalk.com, on their torture testing of the best magazine for the M4 system. Here is his commentary. By the way…notice the TSD Combat Systems RMR Glock 19 in the pics?
Ok guys I want to share some of the torture testing of the TSD-MAG15 magazines that we conducted yesterday. Basically what we did was treat one of the new mags very vary badly and then tested its function.
I started out by simply test firing the magazines during some of our standard M-4 courses of fire (approximately 600 rounds spread across four different magazines). They all functioned reliably in slow, rapid, and full-auto fire. The magazines were always loaded to the full capacity of 30 rounds and were compatible with standard stripper clip speed-loaders.
I also tested the MAG-15′s compatibility with the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon and it fit and functioned 100% during a 4 mag test.
Additionally, one of my M203 (grenade launcher) guys said that he really liked the aggressive texture of the magazine while using it as the grip to shoot the launcher.
I selected one magazine to be the “Tortured Soul” and marked it with black paper masking tape (selected because it wouldn’t add to the strength of the mag)

We were going to be conducting some helo infil / exfil and fast rope training later in the day so I took the opportunity to have one of my guys “Air Mail” the tortured MAG15 from 70 feet onto concrete. Results of the test were great, the magazine remained intact and only one round popped free…..For a 70 foot drop from a Blackhawk that is pretty good.
Next we tied the loaded torture test mag to the back of a HMMWV with some paracord and took it for “Toad’s Wild Ride” ;1 mile on a gravel road at approximately 20 MPH.It got kind of beat up but the rounds remained intact and no structural damage was noted.
We figured since we had a 12,000 pound “Up-Armored” HMMWV we may as well run the tortured mag over….No cracks or feed lip deformation was noted.
Since we all know that DEET is not known for being healthy for plastics (or people either) but we often bathe in the stuff when we are operating in some unpleasant places. We thought it prudent to see if it would cause any damage. So I soaked the internals of the magazine with the old school 100% DEET “Bug Juice”……yeah like the kind our dads used in Vietnam. Then let it sit and stew for a few hours.
Time for test fire…….I fired the tortured mag with ZERO malfunctions with a few bursts of full-auto….
Here is the tortured TSD-MAG15 after the tests.
I was very pleased with the results of this evaluation and I can say with confidence that I will have absolutely NO reservations carrying these magazines in combat!
TSD COMBAT SYSTEMS MAG-15 M4 MAGAZINES
TSD Combat Systems TSD-MAG15 M4 Magazine

TSD Combat Systems introduces the TSD-MAG15 M4 magazine. The move into the magazine market was well thought out and carefully executed. First was the magazine itself. TSD Combat Systems, and its sister company Suarez International, has an large number of former US Military personnel on staff ranging from US Army LRS, Designated Marksmen, Special Operations, Air Force Special Operations, US Marines, and others. These men have a great deal of experience with the M4 platform. TSD Combat Systems assigned them to test and examine every single magazine available for the M4 rifle. Then we used that pool of experience to determine what they wanted in an M4 magazine. Then we made it happen by partnering with key manufacturers in the industry and having them make this magazine to TSD’s specifications.
These TSD-MAG15s have a slimmer floorplate than other polymer magazines on the market, and maintain a slimmer outer profile. This makes it easier to stack in double mag pouches. As well, they insert cleanly and easily into the magazine well of our in-house Daniel Defense and Colt 6920, drop free without any hesitation when the mag catch is pressed, and they seat easily on a closed bolt with a full 30 rounds.
The lip on the magazine extends from front to back, from the top of the lips, down to the top of the mag latch area, which allows the magazine to sit on the catch with metal to metal contact, instead of the metal of the mag catch which has been known to gouge the polymer magazine body and cause malfunctions.
An aggressive surface texture has been applied to the polymer body to improve gripping and retrieval from pouches. The aggressive grip texture between the reinforcing ribs, allowing for more positive control on the magazines when manipulating them. The combination of steel and polymer result in a lightweight, robust magazine that is tougher and stronger than other M4 magazines on the market.
The internal geometry and non-tilting follower of the magazine is maximized to feed the 5.56X45mm round. The feed lips are made from a single piece of precision formed steel that is hardened, then PTFE coated for corrosion resistance. The body and component materials are corrosion and chemical resistant, passing military chemical testing, including exposure to DEET. The floorplate is also slimmer than other polymer magazines, maintaining a slimmer outer profile, and making it easier to use in double mag pouches. Disassembly is quite simple, using only a single round of ammo to depress the locking plate, and slide the floorplate to the rear, off the magazine body.
Moreover, unlike other polymer magazines on the market, the TSD-MAG15 is compatible with multiple modern weapon systems to include the M4/M16/AR-15 systems, the HK416, Sig 556, SCAR-L / Mk16, L85A1, and other similar and STANAG platforms. No need for a special magazine to run in these other platforms.
